The Last Knit and Addiction

This short animation was recently featured on YouTube. It is quite nicely done.

I think this animation has a strong message about addiction. At first you say "I can stop whenever I want" (ie. when she first reached for the scissors but chose not to). However, as the addiction gains power and momentum, it becomes harder to control. If you are lucky, the type of addiction you have is harmless. Other types of addiction are not so forgiving and ultimately may put your life in danger. Then when you want to stop, it takes nothing short of a Herculean effort.
