Misunderstood

I don't have anything funny or smart or interesting or thought-provoking to post today (as usual) so I'll just paste something from "The Complete Essays and Other Writings of Ralph Waldo Emerson" so it looks like I am serving horse radish with my prime rib:

Speak what you think now in hard words and to-morrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day.--"Ah, so you shall be sure to be misunderstood."--Is it so bad then to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.

I got the above from the following link: http://usinfo.state.gov/usa/infousa/facts/democrac/14.htm

USB Hamster Wheel

Ok, I came across a weird USB device. It is a hamster wheel.

http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/new-arrivals/usb-hamster-wheel/index.html

For some reason, when I first saw it, I thought "Hey, I want one of that". But then I thought "but I don't really need it though". Subsequently I thought again "but I may really really want it". And then I saw the logo of the website and strangely (or unstrangely) it described my thoughts exactly.

On third thought, maybe I won't get it. At $44.91USD, that is about $51.62CDN, which works out to be about 49.19 ninety-nine cent tacos.

Taco Town

Sweet Taco Town. I enjoy eating tacos. When I am hungry, sometimes the best thing since sliced bread is the 99 cent taco. And because sometimes it is difficult for me to turn down a taco, I feel compelled to post this:
